Wow.

Hey, so. All those tangs, do they ever bump elbows or anything? Do they ever get ich or anything? What do you feed and how often?

For the first little while the tangs were on edge, but once everyone learned there place on the pecking order things were good to go. I have two very diligent cleaner shrimps and have not had any Ich or parasite problems to date. I tend to power feed, lots of frozen (Brine Shrimp, Mysis, Cyclo, Home made stuff), Nori and Form 1/2 pellets 4-8 times per day.

4 to 8 times per day, and people give me grief for overfeeding at 3x per day ?! How do you not have NO3 and PO4 climbing away on you, how often are you waterchanging?

Last water test had me at:
NH3- 0 PPM
Nitrite- 0 PPM
Nitrate- 10-15 PPM
Will test phosphate when I steal the test kit from my bro . Water changes are in smaller increments but equate to about 15% per month.

Running the DSB Fuge with about 100 mangroves, 200 lbs of liverock, 1000g NP Biopellet in the vertex reactor, Euro reef 135 skimmer, carbon and a little bit of cheato.
My fish seem to love it and considering the polyp extention on my LPS I will continue doing so, I do larger feeding's some times right before night and have started soaking in selcon with some pretty interesting results. 5 500mg Vit C tabs are dosed daily to help out the zoas.

After feeding like this for a while I'm blown away at how many different forms of life I have going on, night time on the reef is a whole different place , btw if anyone needs cheato that is PACKED full of copepods (and limpets, live shrimp, tiger pods, bristle stars...ect...ect) shoot me a PM I have lots to spare.

Not sure if my screen is right but I'm sure I saw some pieces in there with my name on them . Looking fantastic Mr . I used to have lots of those little brittle stars, thought they where the neatest thing.
