LOL, I suppose! We actually already received two right away from Hanna USA to our drop box south of the border, 50+ coming now are from Hanna Canada.

I wonder what the prize is?

Definitely not the first. My LFS has them in stock right now.

I see I was charged 58.98 before shipping and tax for the checker plus 25 extra reagents. You guys have the price of the checker as $44.95 on your site plus 10.99 for 25 additional reagents. So I've paid in advance more than the items cost right now and have been waiting for 6 weeks to actually pay more ($55.98). Are we seriously paying more for the pre-order?

At the time the Checkers cost more for dealer cost as Hanna Canada had not adjusted the price yet for the recent increase in the Canadian dollar. We will make adjustments on the price once ready to ship, the order arrived late this afternoon and will start shipping tomorrow. On another note, it is out of our control that another retailer has an excellent special going on the Checkers.

We will also refund your order if you prefer to purchase the Checker somewhere else. When a group order is put together we do it to benefit anyone that wishes to get on board. You make it sound like we have ripped you off, this is not our intention and we also have no control over waiting for UPS to deliver our order.

Group buys are LOTS of work for not a lot of margin.
