Murphy has just popped his head out again! Drilling my last hole in the center hole. the pane chipped out big. Here are some pic's. Most likely I can not us this bottom pane. I have a spare piece of glass, but it has to be cut, and drilled. It is L48XW24. So I could get the bottom pane and the top bracing out of it.

I guess it is time for a Jager and 7!

The chip doesn't look too bad in the photo .. ? I think if the bulkhead covers it you'd still be OK. Although I guess if you have a spare piece anyhow then there's no harm in starting over.

Having drilled my share of pieces over the years, one thing I wish I had at my disposal was a drill press.

well I got some work done. During the day I was looking for a glass shop that would help me out. ya right a week cut wait. I will try again tomorrow. I was looking at the bottom pane debating to us it. Something still bothered me. I measured the width 16 3/4" the the to side panes 17" width. Now wounder It had a 1/4" silicone gap at the front. I checked my stock pill of glass. I have a L47XW17 pane of glass that is smoked. I Figgured why not no one is going to see it with sand over it. I drilled and assembled the main part of the tank.

The bulk head are just for ruff in.

When I was assembling I bumped the back pane against the 280 stand on the corner. I cracked so my spare L48"xW24" pane is used for the back. The cracked one will be use for top bracing and over flow. As soon as I can fine a glass shop.

I admit I is being a pain, But I am learning as I go. I have put together 3 sumps and now 1 tank. Still not very good at the inner seals but getting better.
