![]() I have a Ca reactor built from Barr and I can say the quality is exceptional. It looks to be the same for this skimmer. $500 is a great deal.

![]() Why you selling it? How noisey is it?
What skimmer does it compare to on the market? |

![]() I'm selling it because my tank has sat empty for over a year now and it'll probably be over a year before it will be running again. (building a new house and moving) I'm also not certain about what I'm going to do with setting up a tank in the new house so I'm going to funnel the money into my house at the moment. There are a few other item's I'm going to sell as well.
Brent's designs are still being sold through Austin Oceans. http://www.austinoceans.com/products-skimmers.html So technically these are still on the market and you can check them out on their website. As far as noise goes, no beckett based skimmer is quiet but it's not super loud either, the air intake does have a muffler system. You would however not want it 'out in the open' in any room that requires 'quietness'. So long as it's in a cabnet or such, I didn't find it bad. |
