oops a little slow
 If the pump housing itself is not cracked you should be able to just buy a new impeller. Kit comes with magnet, shaft & wheel.

 - I got it from Golds I think around $ 25

Wowza!!
Well, a little late in coming back to this conversation but as stated at least you can get replacement impellers for Mag drives. Might be tricky finding someone stocking a Mag36 impeller but they should at least be able to get one for you. Good luck!
