needs better flow and light, try moving to a different place in tank.

I have one of these and as long as he gets good light he is great. Take away his light...shrivels up just like that. It is truly amazing the difference.

Try out a new spot he should come around.

yes...more flow...give it several squirts with a turkey baster....get that film off..
