tested with the PAR meter today, comparing the ICE CooL.E.D to 400W MH at about 8" above the water surface.

400WMH aquaconnect+6x54w T5HO gave 500PAR at 12" depth
27W ICE CooL.E.D gave 250PAR at 12" depth
15W ICE CooL.E.D gave 150PAR at 12" depth

400W MH ran at 89C
27W ICE CooL.E.D ran at 48C with almost zero heat project forward
15W ICE CooL.E.D ran at 41C with almsot zero heat project forward

Core running temperature on the O.C ICE CooL.E.D is about 50C the fins dissipate the heat to about 38-41 near the LEDs in the front.
