No secret at all and newbies are always welcome. The group usually meets at Montana's on the south side every month thanks to "fencer" This month we're trying to do a tour of local hobbyist's tanks. The meeting dates are always announced by "fencer" here on the forum.

If it is a regular meeting they are at:

MONTANA'S CALGARY TRAIL: 10330 G A MACDONALD AVE NW,

Usually 1pm and we sit in the lounge section at a tall table

No problem I love to see new faces come out for the meeting/get togethers. Unfortunately I wont be able to make the 11th (I'll be thinking of everyone as I'm snorkeling in Mexico) but usually I'm there for them.
