Default Need some advice please

We are starting our upgrade soon, with 2 DT's, 1 reef, 1 fowlr. Reef to be on the top. I want to stack them on top of each other. I would like to completly see the bottom tank. How would i go about making a stand like this? 1 st tank is 7'x2'x2'(reef), 2nd is 6'x2'x18"h. These are going in the wall so finishing is not needed. Ideas or links would be appreciated.

Thanks S

Go to CRS in Mission. The owners son is a reefer and I'm sure they could weld up a pretty sturdy stand. They do good work.

I would like to go steel, but the stand has to be built in my fish room and into a support wall.

Default tanks

if you are building into a support wall you will need a header over the top of the tanks-2x4 wall -double2x10-2x6 triple 2x10-and how much space between the two tanks?

The end is through the support wall. I want to tie the stand into the wall. This support wall is in the middle of my deck.

Default tanks

wherever you go through a support wall you have to put in some headers-i'll send you a drawing later today on how to support your tanks
