![]() Wow, I'd put a watt logger (I think you can find them under the name Kill A Watt) meter on your tanks and log exactly how many watts they are using a month. Might also consider flipping your breaker to all your exterior plugs when you aren't using them to reduce the likelihood of anyone 'borrowing' your power.

![]() My last Hydro (electric) bill...$470...However, I only get a bill every 60 days or so. That means I'm about $235/month. The house is heated/cooled with an electric heat pump. While the heat pump saves me energy overall, it has the effect of boosting my electric bill while reducing/eliminating my natural gas bill.
Yup....water is free.
