Good to know !
Being a noob, I've never owned anything with more than 1/4" thickness so I wouldn't know. Of course, now you've got me thinking about making my own since rare earth magnets are easy to get (and cheap) and I've got lots of scrap plastic around, and the piece that goes in the tank just uses a kind of velcro as the scrubber... Could make your own for a few bux. Hmmm.....
