| The ORA fish are a good bet as most Canadian LFS can order them. I have an ORA neon dottyback that is a nice looking fish. |

| Check out the thread from Blue World Aquatics recently. He brought in Assessors, some types of Blennies, Goby's and Dottybacks that were from ORA. All would work in a 37 gallon tank. You could also look at a lot of different type of cardinal fish, such as the Pajama or Bangaai's, as they are also captive bred sometimes.

| fishbase So are you wanting to go captive bred to take it easy on wild caught populations and the reef? If so one other thing to consider is using: http://fishbase.org/search.php to determine how resilient a given species is. If you scroll down on any given fish page you will see resilience comments and vulnerability rating. Some fish reproduce like rats to fill a niche to capacity in no time and others go really slowly. Your Purple Firefish for instance has a low vulnerability rating of 10 out of 100. So it looks like they are not going to be fished out anytime soon. |
