Loc line doesnt come in 1" sizes so all I have now is PVC. I had to modify four 1" PVC 90º fittings to get the angle that I wanted. You can see where I cut them and how they are just below the surface in this picture.
 If I stand in front of my tank and look at it I barely notice that they are there. They are mostly covered in coraline now but if you really want to make them invisible you could probably paint them blue or back depending on what color your background is.  When I used to use 3/4" plumbing with loc line flare nozzles the configuration looked like this:
