![]() Ahhhh, unfortunately, gigantea's aren't into that sort of thing .. they spawn instead, apparently they are either male or female. So what you need to do is see if you can get it to spawn and then find one of the opposite gender and then raise 1000 little gigantea anemone larvae.

![]() That's certainly do-able. It's something I always kind of wanted to try .. but could never do it with mine because I like them too much to risk losing both halves afterwards! Plenty of people over at RC over the years have done it successfully with haddoni. There was a failed attempt with a mertensii although the loss of both halves may have been accidental and not due to the cutting itself .. to my knowledge it hasn't been attempted with gigantea but it is theoretically possible.
A $300 blue carpet though is a heck of specimen to try it on as a first attempt !!
