Man I love them fairy wrasses. I had a pair of bluesides in a small tank and lost them to jumping the same night. (Was away, tanksitter forgot to close the hatch in the canopy that night .. what are the odds! Boo urns. )

But, on a happier note, yours has really exquisite purple colouration I don't think I've seen in Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura before. Very cool!

Thanks guys!

I've been debating about adding a background to the tank. Either Blue or Black, but not sure yet. Any input?

And finally one "FTS" shot down the length of the tank! Bloody Vortech sure can pull an undertow! Tank has become half SSB and half BB..

I made the executive decision today to not have one in this tank. Convicts are much more docile/peaceful and can get along in pairs/groups. These 2 looked to good to pass up and I wanted something you don't see a lot in other tanks. I have done a fair amount of research on them in the past couple months, and that's the only reason why I pulled the trigger today.

They acclimated amazingly well and within about 10mins were grazing the microalgae in the tank and barely flinched when I would approach the tank. They have been grazing ever since. Definitely one heck of a "worker" fish.

My striped bristletooth showed no aggression to either of them at all, so things should stay fairly peaceful.

The Convicts are different and a nice looking fish. Pairs or groups of tangs are always nice to look at.
