Those are great looking clams but it's the same with corals, never seen anything even close in the LFS

Apparently it is all marketing. From my understanding is that they are just Croceas with great colours.

Yeah I sort of share the skepticism on what they're marketed as but ultimately I don't care BECAUSE I WANT THEM ALL!!!!!! Whatever they are, they're awesome.

Yeah, I've heard that too. Bu then look at the first clam - scutes, and croceas ain't gots none scutes from where I's comes from.

They could call those "SuperUltraMaximalPrimus clams" for all I care, I want one (or three) !!
