I've been running Ocean Runners for years . Model numbers OR3500 and OR6500.
I've had a couple wear out, but that's after about 5 years of continual use.
I'm pretty happy with that. Not interested in looking at other brands.

It also depends what's available locally to you. If your LFS will give you good service and warranty, that should be a consideration.

Loud....wouldn't re start after any power interuption even when perfectly clean and generally just not happy with it...now it is moving water in w tub in the basement cooking some live rock for my new classroom tank....
