+1. Use the float valve shutoff as a flood preventer when filling a reservoir, but don't use a float valve shutoff kit to regulate the RO/DI full-time. That's a lesson I needed 3 RO membranes to learn.

well, i am on the ro water as of tonight, i just made up a batch of water.

its not done yet, as you can see.

Big thanks to Kevin at Red Coral for the RODI unit, I was on a break from work and he got everything together for me, even though he was busy, he replaced the filters on it, so all i had to do when i got home was hook it up to the tap. Customer service is really top notch.

I tested the tap water again, and it was 170. The water from the RO unit was 000

Sweet.

With RO (and less TDS and other junk) you may want to rethink/tone back your Zeo lest you completely strip the water bare or all nutrients.

I agree with albert on this. Zeo's job is to "strip" the water as you guys are calling it. The zeo products then introduct their own nutrients to the coral via dosing. If anything John should see better results with a cleaner starting point. (Zero TDS)
