![]() I've had porcupine puffer & lionfish together but not a good idea to keep a small fish with a lionfish. Most of the time, eventually, the lionfish will eat tankmates small enough to fit in their cavernous mouths.

![]() puffer isnt really a small fish though, it grows to about the same size as the lion. i figured out ill have 44 gallons of water running. what if i got rid of the clown and the damsel? so jsut the gsp and the dwarf lion in there?

![]() You have 33 gal of water availible for the fish to swim in, not over 40... the fish aren't swimming in your sump :P
33 is not a lot of room for them to be put in together |

![]() i know i only have 33 but i thought that the room being to small was only because of bio load... is it also to small for swimming? that sucks i gotta find a new fish then.. any suggestions?

![]() If you really want a puffer I would recommend going to thepufferforum.com lots of great information. Also a great place to ask questions of people with a lot of experience with puffers.

![]() you can get a valentini puffer! cute and dont need too too much space. As for a lion, a dwarf should be fine in a 33g as long as it is not the tall tank. They can be kept together too... I had them in a 33 a while back.
