![]() well, you can install a stringer spanning between 2 studs. Take a piece of 1x4, stain or paint it nice. Have seen that done lots. if painting it same color as ceiling, you hardly notice it.

![]() Hmm.. I thought that's what I suggested :-)
Essentially what we are saying us make your own studs by running a board between two studs in the ceiling. I guess that's called a stringer? Then mount the light from that. There must be studs up there somewhere? What is the ceiling drywall screwed into? |
