Too Much Flow for SPS?

Is there such thing too much flow for SPS? I have a sure flow up to 2100 gph about 10" away from SPS. I am thinking have the power head down to 1600 or original 1200? Any advise? Thanks.

You don't want direct flow on them. They should be fine with that though.
