Some of the other 'plants' really looked like palythora to me too.

I won't be able to see it until it comes out on DVD. My wife is not a Scifi fan AT ALL. Last Scifi movie I took her too was Lord Of The Rings, I damn near strangled her!

Tell her it is a movie about the environment & a love story. That might help. & I think I saw ome "zoos" in it too.

Go without her Just don't tell her I told you to do this.

My parents just went & they also raved about how visually stunning it was. They saw it at the IMAX though. We saw it in 3D at a regular theatre.
