Hmm, I use the same setup Oscar...not sure what to tell you. I do clean my floats about once every 6 months though.

Probably just a cleaning of the contacts will do it.

I have the same setup works perfict just clean the floats in viniger and the contacts will need cleaning all surfaces if you need to clean the female conecter use a Qtip and perocide the perocide remove any corosion then rince with viniger and let dry. if that does not clear things up you will have to open the controler modual use perocide and clean the enitre circute board front and back close up and let dry. Test unit.

Thanks. I think the connector to the controller should be ok since it is mounted in a nice dry spot inside the cabinet. But I will clean the float in vinegar tonight.

I work in the telecom industry and salt gets into everything just from having extra moisture it will let a tiny bit of salt to travel from one place to anouther. Telus closures on the coast are in bad shape that is why they have been replacing them on a regular basis. I would give them a good once over it only takes a couple of minutes to have a look and swob them. As I said if that does not clear it up you will have to open the controler and clean both sides of the circuit board. The manufacturer should have an rubber coating on the board but I see that mine doe not has one so I think it is an over sight on there part. Electronics and water do not mix. You can use clear nail polish to coat the board but if it over heats then it could catch fire more easily.

So I soaked the float overnight and reinstalled it. The float moves freely and the controller receives the signal. Red light on the controller pump when the float is low and light is out when the float rises.

The pump works when I bypass the controller.

So it appears the controller is getting the signal from the float but it is not turning on power to the pump.

You might have to give the interior of the controller a quick once over to see that salt is not stopping it from working properly.
