![]() The exoterra light (with the 2 bulbs) is good, I have it on mine. I supplement with a few hours of halide but I have to watch the temps of the frogs.
Two of the exoterras lights (4 bulbs) would probably be plenty. For plants I tried to make a basic list of suitable ones mostly from the dendroboard and orchidboard forums and looked for small plants at nurseries, and garden centers. Here's a list of some Vivarium Plants The broms came from Hawaiian Botanicals in Richmond, they have some nice stuff. Paramount Orchids here in Calgary has a ton of stuff but I had a hard time finding suitable orchids for my viv, I have one still kicking but no flowers.

![]() Orchids are a tough sell in a viv, most don't prefer the constant wetness you'll get. Some will probably do well but it's tough finding them.
I might have some mini brom pups that I could set you up with. You won't find much for mini broms locally in the stores. It's pretty bad for that around here. Just the huge broms (which are nice, but usually too big for vivs). There have been times I've been tempted to ask the zoo for pups of some of their collection (they have some really nice miniatures in their collections ![]()

![]() So I checked the name tags of the two miniature bromeliads I have that could I could snip a pup off. Neoregelia lilliputiana, and Neo. lilli x Elton. I could snip these off if you wanted something to start with.
What I'd really love to get my hands on is a Neoregelia Fireball and a Vriesea racinae. If you do some mail-order for broms and you happen to notice these available please let me know, we could pool the order and save a bit on shipping if you were into that.
