I would ditch the Fiji purps.....they do very little (comparatively speaking)as far as usable par and the red spectrum will encourage algae growth....although they do make the colors "pop".....you might as well got a six bulb unit

I have been using URI VHO 75.25 and Actinincs. They give a very nice color as well. These are on T12 but I have ordered the T5's to see if they do the same thing

Good call on the Giesmann Actinics. I've been using the German pure actinics for a long time and find them to be second to none as far as actinics go. I also agree with Doug about the Fiji purples. I didn't like the color at all, and didn't even use them long enough to find out about the algae thing.
