Default Moon Lighting

I see J and L have a moon light for sale. Does anyone know anything about moon lighting on an aquarium? Is it a good purchase or a gimmic?

See my new post in the DIY forum for a good(and in my opinion better)alternative to the LED spotlights...

I have seen Evan's ( eposer ) moonlight and it looks awesome ... if you have the parts already to make something else then by all means do so but I think I might visit a computer store today and give Evan's idea a try on my reeftank.

Cheers

I'm using a single 4w blue night light bulb over my reef tank.

Cord with switch and bulbs cost under 10$. Not to bright and not to dim either.
