Beautiful tank! Turned out really slick! I'm considering the same reflectors, how you like them?

Thanks everyone for the kind comments

Still no leaks so i can relax now for a while

Once the corals have all settled in, i shall take a few more pictures so that i can compare growth a months from now.

Good Job!

Hi Josh & Wayner,

Very happy so far with the reflectors; they seem to spread the light very well. Not sure about my bulb selection yet. I have gone with 2x 250w 14k Ushio & 1 x 250w 20k. I wanted to see the difference before making my mind up. The 20k is very blue but i wonder if it will be enough PAR; I love the way it brings out the colours though. The 14k is a cooler white, but doesn't pop the colours as much. I had been running actinics on my last tank so i might end up supplementing these pendants with t5's..

Simon

It turned out spectacularly!

I love how our tanks need so much light. Yours is smack dab in the middle of two windows and I'll bet you never open those blinds for fear of sunlight hitting the tank!
