![]() Very cool pic. although I've never seen a lion fish with purple and blue colouration?? Is it a reflection from something else? or is it like Christy's tang that sometimes looks very purple but really it's blue? Just wondering.

![]() The coloration is natural but not always easy to see. To get the picture I waited for the fish to spread its fins and be in a position where the light come through the fin from the back, then added a fill flash to capture all the colors. The edited picture has enhancements to make the color more defined.
