![]() If it is a DC motor, a transformer won't do diddly. Those are for AC. Please don't try mixing DC and AC; the results will be disasterous. Kablammo!
Depending on amperage you could use a simple 12 VDC wall wart (a type of power supplypower supply... like the black boxes that you find on laptop power cords, etc). I think this is what you mean by a transformer maybe? A 12 VDC wall wart that plugs into a 120 VAC outlet should be no more than a few bucks at radioshack, walmart, etc. Make sure you get a supply that can handle 1.7 A. |

![]() if you use a typical puck light transformer from under cabinet fixtures, that will work. most of them give 12vdc and up to 60w capability

![]() Computer power supply will work.....but don't put Green to black, that only works for some power supplies I know the atx power power supplies you need to tie green to ground.........If you have an old power supply PM me with the make and model and I'll let you know how to hook it up.......Or if all else fails I can just build you a power supply for your pump!
