![]() Picked up an African Gorgonian on sale at Island Pets in Burnaby over the weekend. There was no polyp extension at the store but once I brought it home, the polyps came out and it looks great. It also came with a few feather stars. I haven't ID'ed the gorgonian yet but since the polyps tend to come out in the light, I would have to think that it is photosynthetic.

![]() Thanks. Looks like it could be this Red Gorgonian and it is photosynthetic. Probably Paramuricea clavata.

![]() I'd bought the orange one at the same place also together with 3 nos. of feather stars as bonus about 3 weeks ago. I don't think yours and mine are belonging to the photosynthesis one so beware and I feed it twice a week
