Default Best MO supplier of clams...

Well I've been poking around, researching clams and I am wondering what the best source in Canada would be. Is there anyone who will let you see the exact clam you are buying? I am fairly picky, most clams I have seen in local stores are totally unimpressive in my opinion.

Quinn, you need to talk to Tim at Seacare. I think he'll be able to help you out. I hear Jayson has clams also, I've just never seen them.

Cool. I like those yellow Derasa's J&L has as well, I think I should stick to a Derasa since it's my first clam. I am still debating whether my tank is old enough to handle a clam...

teevee, you might want to check out Flame*Angel's tank:

She's got some good pictures of her clams which were purchased at SeaCare. They look awesome.

I don't think age is all that important. As long as it's stable, you should be fine.

Cool. My dad is on this clam kick, he asks me quite often when I will be getting one, so I told him if he paid, he could go ahead and get one. So we'll see.

Hey Quinn,
Jayson is great! He has sent my pic's by mail before I bought my first clam. Tim at seacare is supposed to be great as well.

I got a couple from Jayson at SWC for FREE. You should call him!

(Actually it was on a trial basis, but I didn't pay for them, or keep them for that matter. But they did survive in my 90 and helped clear my green water.)

They were smaller Gold Maximas, and arrived in great shape. Jon got one of them.

Tim @ Seacare. I wanted them all but sadly I could only take one home. He had some of the most incredible croceas I've seen outside of books and the internet.
