![]() Ordered a new impeller, should be here tomorrow hopefully
![]() Did some plumbing shopping today and bought some stuff this past weekend too ![]() I ended up buying a 2" bulkhead as the tank was drilled for it previously, I'm reducing it to 1.5" because I would have to buy about 12 feet of 2" PVC and I only need about 5-6' which is a waste. So I bought a bunch of reducers instead so I can do that in the 1.5 as well I am going to run from the dart with the spaflex but up the left side of the tank with PVC (and strap it to the wall I think) before I go back to spaflex for the wavy sea like Dez has done. I think the rigidity will serve well at that end of the tank, that way if someone bumps it, it won't move. ![]() I'm gonna do the return plumbing with spaflex, course I totally forgot to get some while I was in Van ![]() Bought a couple new corals as well from Ocean Aquatics, they had some nice stuff, it was hard to control myself ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() Progress!!
"Glass half full" (oh it goes painfully slow) ![]() Dart pump mounted with rubber feet to absorb any vibrations (best we could do around here) ![]() rubber feets (we mounted them upside down for better stability) ![]() Why I got a second Aquatronica Powerbar or "every electricians nightmare" ![]() Wavy sea mounted (stuff in background is the RODI line and a clamp holding it in place) ![]() Thats about it. It should really be more exciting than that. Oh I also glued most of my PVC together today. PVC glue is disgusting, now I remember why I never glue anything ![]() As well the sump is off being drilled and should be ready Tuesday so I can get the whole system up and running then. Then its just check for leaks, fling some salt in and get some rock in there ![]() Oh and then theres all the finishing junk ![]()

![]() In addition to those feet on your pump, you could place the pump onto some of that wetsuit material. I have also seen mouse pads for the comp made out of the same material. It absorbs vibrations well.
