Default 40G build suggestions

I am about to start a 40G 36x18x15 mostly SPS
im debating between the 48' 6x54W or 36' 6x39W Tek Light..
would it be way overkill to be using the 6x54W light ?

i would go with a 36" fixture over a 36" tank
a 48" fixture will hang 6" over each end of the tank and look stupid

yeah go 36" try and not get a light bigger than the tank, unless you know for a fact its just a holding tank for an upgrade really soon to a 4ft tank.
