Adding a purple tang?

Purple tangs are much to aggressive for such a small tank. They should be kept in six foot long tanks: 180g's to 230g and up.

I agree with all the comments. Your tank is too small for a purple tang.

What exactly constitutes a centerpiece fish? Every non-reefkeeper I encounter always zeros in on the clownfish in a tank and completely ignores what most of us would consider a more spectacular specimen.
