![]() You might have luck with a squamosa. Enough T5 and you might get away with maximas or croceas.

![]() I keep a small crocea 24" down from 4 24W T5HO I use 2x12K, 1x Actinic, 1x Blue+ and he does good. I havent noticed alot of growth and it has been about 3 months.
I also dose Coral Snow and have started dosing Spongepower. |

![]() I've got a blue Maxima in my 15g. It's about 18" down from the lights - 1 x 15K, 2 x 22K, 1 x actinic. It looks happy and healthy. No problems here.
When I bought it I put it up really high, thinking I wouldn't be able to get it enough light further down in the tank. However, in the spot I tried to put it, it's foot would not grab on and it kept falling. So I moved it to a small rock on the sandbed and it's attached pretty firmly. I wouldn't try under PC but T5's are fine. |

![]() What size is your tank? I ask because both squamosa and derasa get quite large and once a clam has "rooted" in, its not the easiest thing to remove cleanly.

![]() I've been considering a derasa under my 70W MH, but someone told me that I should be able to keep derasas, squamosas, and maximas under this light without too much trouble (specially if it's up on the rockwork and not in the sandbed), so you really shouldn't have too much of an issue, I'm sure your PAR values are up there with the T5s.
