![]() wow, you caught a mantis!
I have one and I can't! I tried the bottle trick and all I got was a bottle full of cleaner shrimp and snails. No mantis. He will eat anything, I think mine eats fish once in a awhile, as I have lost a few fish overtime, but could not find them... EVER! No carpet surfing, no dead bodies, one day there, the next gone.

![]() Not finding bodies is pretty normal. A dead fish does not last too long. If you are lucky, you find a skull. I wouldn't take that as an indication that your mantis is hunting fish, though.
