Well its been 4 and a half months since the last update. which if you are counting is about how long summer was this year, so its that time to get back at it. I have been busy with the drywall and paint and that is about it. I wanted to get the exterior done before the fun on the inside started cause if you are like me the tank will be running and you will still be able to see through the wall...

So time for some Pics

Here is the finished drywalling

This shows the front panel that lifts up

NOW THIS IS THE PART I NEED HELP WITH.

Criticism is appreciated. As you can see I painted the wall red. Still dont know if i like it or not. I have left the access panel just primed for now and dont know if I should paint it the same color or leave it. The rest of the room is going to be white with white trim.

Do you think the red is too much? Im still undecided.

Think I might actually like the white sealer better...

I like the red! Bold. But I doubt that once the tank is filled, you will really notice the red so much. I say keep it.

Personally I'd make the red areas a really dark color like a gray or some earthy color. The red I think draws too much attention away from the tank itself.

Love how you've framed it out though...looks like a beautiful tank as well!

I have to agree that the red detracts to much, like a piece of art you never frame with a bolder colour that draws the eye away from the centerpiece. Maybe walls opposing the tank wall in a strong colour but the only draw on that one side should be the tank itself
