WOW can't wait to see it up and running. Also glad I don't have to do the water changes for it!

Water changes shouldn't be a problem, I will just use the water from the reef when I do that one.

Apparently you have a very understanding wife to let you get away with a tank that size. This going to be a good thread to fellow along. Good luck!

I was surprised at how encouraging she was when I mentioned it, I will get moving tomorrow with renos and I better get some more pics up, allready on page 4 and only two pics

Couple shots of the skimmer in action, this was cleaned yesterday morning, I am getting about three cups of liquid stench per 24hrs.



And here is the frankensump hooked up to temporary holding tank, very ghetto.

I think you might need to crank the skimmer up a bit, I'm getting nearly 3 cups in a 24hr period

Good idea. That's how I recycle my reef water change through my fowlr/softie tank.
