![]() Funny, I got one of those Squiggly CF lights over my 45g sump. (10g sump) and Chaeto barely grows. But other algae is growing in tank, as well as Cyano...
Just moved some Chaeto in my 150g's sump, with 1 18" T8 bulb above it, running 24/7. We'll see how that does..

![]() You know, I NEVER checked the squiggly till now. Dumb me. It's only a 3000K 25w No wonder Red Turf Algae grows rampant in the sump....

![]() The 6500K CFL were hard for me to find. I checked RONA and HD before I found them at Canadian Tire.

![]() Home depot has phillips, 6500K daylight cfl. Thats what I use.
