Feeding Blastomussa and Ricordia

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about a better way to keep crabs and snails away when trying to feed the blastomussa and ricordia small pieces of mysis or squid. The crabs will walk all over both and steal the food. Right now I try and stand guard but it takes them quite a while to digest the food and the crabs will just steal the food from there mouths if I am not there to watch.
