I think a person has a right to bid whatever they want. Having said that, the fun of an auction is in fact bidding in increments. The reality is that a person might have gotten this package cheaper( no disrerspect to the retail value of the package) if it had been incremental. I suspect the person who had set the intial bid wanted it very much and probably will slam it at the close of the auction.

Let's take this thread back to being an auction for some great corals and not about the ethics of bidding!

Correct.

That being said - someone who has not even bid yet could easily place the winning bid tomorrow. Snipe it at the last minute.

What do you consider "moderate" flow?

In my tank - not high up getting flow from the seaswirls or tunzes, but mid-tank towards the middle in an open area. If it is a monti - ideally enough flow to keep it clean.

Well you have certainly done that! No complaints from me though.

Default more SPS

OK - lets add these 2 to the auction as well. The orange and green stylo and the "Grape Jelley" acropora subglabra. It should be noted the purple subglabra is not an easy SPS at all, but when doing well, it is just outstanding. I have owned this for about a year++ now. Purple with blue tips when it is happy. Both frags will be a generous size.
