Thanks everyone!

do you wake up in the middle of the night to feed them
Nope.

Believe it or not, I didn't have rotifers either. (Nowhere to buy live ones here.) All I had on hand that was small enough was reefroids for a first food. I fed that almost exclusively the first 4 days, then fed that plus newly hatched BBS and some stuff called "better than brine" (a dry food). Now I'm feeding cyclopeeze (freeze dried, nobody is eating it yet), attempting crushed flake, reefroids and still BBS. I did try the frozen rotifers a couple times, but they made the tank just stink within 2 hours, so I stopped. 7 isn't exactly a great number percentage-wise, but I'll be happy if they live.

Edit: Also feeding frozen BBS as of the 5th

2nd edit: New pic for 19 days old

The baby clowns are now officially a month old!

In other news I have added more seahorses. Now I have a small "herd" in the 72g of 2 pairs of pretty kudas. My daughter had fun naming them.

There are 2 yellow males, 1 orange female and one sand colored female.

"Peaches"

everyone already loves the food dish

"Spots and Peaches"

"Sunshine"

"Spots" (shy little guy)

I was going to try mixing with Tigertails in the long term, but with a little more research decided against it and ended up returning them to the store. Now I just need to fatten up these new ones. If they are anything like Suzy (the sand colored girl I had already) that shouldn't take too long. She's learned to follow the pipette around. It's so cute.

Suzy before she changed color to "sand"

Another color Suzy has worn

"Sunshine" --this male is pretty interested in Suzy. I caught them "dancing" a few days ago and he had his pouch open. They did not transfer or anything but I expect they will in time after some more pair bonding. I really hope the new ones keep their pretty colors.

That's so cool about the baby clownfish. It looks like they're doing well and your sea horses are beautiful.

yey! ponies! Your clowns are super cute as well.
Your new seahorses are gorgeous. I especially like Sunshine. Soooo beautiful.
How are they all adjusting?
Oh, and where'd you get the hitching posts??

Also, why'd you decide against the Tigertails?? Any specific reasoning? I love ours!

Thanks all! I could not resist these beautiful colorful ponies. They appear to be adjusting very well and so far have not changed color. The orange one went straight to the food dish--from the bag! I guess she knew what she was doing They aren't quite as personable as Suzy yet, but we are very happy with them.

The yellow hitch I found in Big Als and the orange is a Decoral "octopus coral" that a member on seahorse.org was nice enough to let me buy from them. The orange coral is their "home base" and they sleep there.

As to the Tigertails they were super cute but after reading about all the possible issues I might have with them (and mixing species) I decided to just go with the Kudas.

Reefroids! I find it amazing that you got those baby clowns going on reefroids. Good work.
