I'm not a big corner tank fan, awkward angles = awkward cleaning . Do you have room for a square tank or are you going with the corner tank because that's the only thing that will fit. (Also keep in mind that lighting for a corner tank can be a little bit troublesome.)

+1... I was reading a tank thread on NR and the guy ended up getting LED fixtures to fit the wierd angles and bracing.

I'm sure you could retrofit a halide in there but t'5 supplementals might be a little harder. Never used LED's but from my reading they sound really pretty interesting.

you bring up some great points. Now I have to see how i am going fit my light with corner tank. Hmmm more to think about...

So many things to put into a tank, you made the right choice asking canreef . Have you thought of flow, I ask because longer tanks have the length to diffuse the power of a strong power head. While a corner tank would have flow directly hitting glass, this can cause some sand storm problems. What about the plumbing and the sump, unless you have an internal overflow you wont have a flush corner set up. These are few reasons I prefer a square tank over a corner one.

Unfortunately, corner tank is only my option now to maximize the view and size
