One more thought for you guys. Find out about the bulb and different replacements. Those type of bulbs may only come in warm white (5600K or 6500K). Not sure that would be ideal for a pico reef unless you want to grow some nice macro algae.

Good point... Ian can you see if we can get other bulbs for this ? I really don't want to grow macro algae, I already have a CPR fuge for that

Okay, I will look into it. The description on Premium Aquatics does say that it comes with a blue and white bulb. I will phone them right now.

**EDIT** Just talked to Premium Aquatics, the bulb is a 50/50 Blue and White special bulb. He said the light is a nice crisp light blue in color.
