![]() They probably originated from an Australian hobbyist who collected them legally in 2006. I remember reading about his attempt but I can't find the URL at the moment.

![]() I bet these are offspring from one of the US companies. I think Drs Forester and Smith maybe were breeding a pair of offspring that they got from the Australian pair.

![]() Yup. Some breeder in Australia kept pestering until he was allowed to go collect a few. He bred them first and sold some to Drs. Foster & Smith; they bred them too and were selling them. I believe the majority ended up in Japan. Drs. Foster and Smith are the most likely source for the one in question.

![]() The guy who originally collected these on the MOFIB forum. It was amazingly detailed from the process he had to go through to get permission, the hostility he got from locals when he arrived and to the journal of the actual collection and breeding setups.
