![]() Yup I changed it out today. Im usually pretty good about changing my bulbs out at or even before 12 months. Ive never run a bulb to 16months before and was just kinda curious if they distort with use.
Ive got another that is right at 12 months that Im going to change out tomorrow.. curiuos to see if if bubbled out too, as its the identicle fixture. |

![]() Definitely not normal at all! I ran 400w and mine never had something like that happen. You may want to forward your photo onto the manufacturer, just as an FYI for them.

![]() Run way to hot. Do you have a fan on your light? They bubble from heat, the glass getting soft. MH runs at about 50PSI inside the bulb, so when you get it ti hot, the glass softens and it bubbles. That can be real dangerous, if the bulb explodes, shooting hot glass, sometimes up to 2200F everywhere.
