Default sand?

i just got back from the calgary stamped, to find my sand bright green and red. how did this happen? this happend in the time frame of one week.

Did something die? Tank sitter overfeeding?

did you leave some one else feeding your tank that was maybe a lot over zellous?

that could be the case of the sitter over feeding , what do i do with the sand? i kind of like the look.

Hi Pete
If the sandbed is fairly fresh, then I would say that maybe it's still going through it's cycle. Sandbeds also go through a grow-in or established cycle just like water chemistry. If not, and over feeding was the case then I would perform some small water changes every week to clean up the water.
