ragged fins

what causes ragged fins on tangs. the sailfin in my 110 is gettin kinda ragged on the edges and id like to figure out the problem before it gets worse.

yup, theres a tomini tang as well but the fins dont look nipped just ragged , ill try to post a pic

I've read some places that it is a sign of poor nutrition, not enough greens.

How long have to had the fish?
The cause is likely either either poor food quality/quantity or poor water conditions.
What are you feeding and how often?
What are the readings in your tank?
How often are you doing water changes and how much %?

There may be a fungus issue here so you should start feeding your tang food soaked in garlic extreme and selcon.
