Ya I noticed the blue egg crate too. I bet the blue on the scoly is actually more greyish. Same with the blue on the Favia. And BOY would I be ****ED if I paid $400+ US for it if it came to me all washed out.

I noticed the lovely blue egg crate too...and wondered about how true the colors actually are....seems too pretty to be true at least with the Scolly!

well if you check the other corals they are auctioning, the eggcrate in every picture is blue...

That tells me they have saturated all the colors in all the pictures. I bet a dollar thats black eggcrate.

Great pieces, IMO the favia is WAY over priced; I would throw up if I paid $1000.00 for a single piece of coral only to find out that the vendor turned up the contrast to turn up the price

If you look closely at the pictures, notice the shadows that are cast by the eggcrate.. they are blue too.

Wow, back on that "over priced much" comment of mine if you look at there only SPS a ugly brown Montipora Setosa they say the retail value for it is $829.00!!!!
