The "grass" species is Prolifera. Its a type of caulerpa macroalgae. My ponies love that stuff to hang on to.

Great tank for your seahorses ~ I really like the algae you have if you don't mind me asking where did you find it?

Nice tank....I am thinking of putting in plantation as well for my SH's tank but have to wait until after the tank cycles. Seahorses (especially Kuda's) are known to change color depending on their environment, diet, mood and other factors. Yellowish-white is very common for kuda's. Keep the pics coming that looks really cool they must be happy
Cheers

Leah - I got all my macro algae from J&L. I have 3 different kinds, grape calupera, feather calupera and prolifera. I just asked for a bunch of each and they gave me a good amount so i just anchored it and soon it rooted into the sand.

H2oStable - Your horsies will love the plants you put in mine are always hanging onto the grass and hunting for food .

I love your tank! Makes me want a horsie tank with prolifera too!! And I've never really had much interest in keeping them before as I don't remember ever seeing a very attractive looking horsie tank. Very inspirational!
